Privacy policy

This policy says how LaKlub uses the details you give us on laklub.com: when you request an invite, write to us, sign in to LaKlub (including with your Google account), or visit the site. Questions or requests about your details: support@laklub.com.

What we collect

When you request an invite: your name, email address, business name, what you sell or do, your country and the line you write about your business.
What you write to us by email.
When you sign in with Google: the details described under "Signing in with Google" below.
Your device and browser, and how you use the site, to keep it secure and working.

Signing in with Google

You can sign in to LaKlub with your Google account. When you do, and only with your permission on Google's consent screen, Google shares with us your name, your email address and your profile picture. We ask for nothing else: no access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.

How we use it: only to sign you in, to recognise your account the next time you sign in, and to show your name and picture to you in your account.
Sharing: we don't share it with anyone, except the hosting services that run LaKlub for us, and authorities where the law requires it.
Selling and advertising: we never sell it or use it for advertising.
Deletion: it's deleted when your account is deleted. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by writing to support@laklub.com, and you can remove LaKlub's access in your Google account's settings (Security, Third-party apps with account access).

LaKlub's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements.

Why we use it

To sign you in and run your account.
To read your request, decide on your invite and write to you about it.
To answer you when you write to us.
To keep the site secure and to prevent abuse.
To meet our legal obligations.

We only send you marketing emails if you've asked for them, and every one has a link to stop them.

Who we share it with

Our email and hosting services, to send our emails and run the site.
Authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your details or share them for advertising.

How long we keep it

An invite request is kept while we consider it and while we're in touch with you about it, and deleted when you ask us to.

Security

Your details are sent over encrypted connections and kept on secured servers that only our team can reach. No system is perfectly secure.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, get a copy, or withdraw your consent, by writing to support@laklub.com. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, and we reply within 30 days. Where you live may give you further rights under its data protection law (in India, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).

Visits to this site

We count visits to this site ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each page we note its address, the site or app you came from, any campaign tags on the link (such as utm_source), your kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and, where our network gives it, your country. To tell visitors apart for one day we use a code made from your connection and browser that changes every day and can't be traced back to you; your IP address isn't stored. When you request an invite, we note where your visit came from (for example a search engine or a link someone shared). Nothing of this is shared with advertisers. Page views are kept for 30 days and daily totals for two years.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, and counting visits uses none.

Children

This site is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's details.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new date.
